Fixed term, Part-timeImmediate startMornington Peninsula location We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Primary Specialist Teacher Visual Arts based at our Minimbah Campus in Frankston South.The Primary Specialist Teacher Visual Arts is responsible for the development and delivery of an engaging and innovative, inquiry-centred Visual Arts program for students at the campus. They will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and review of the Visual Arts curriculum. This is a Fixed Term part time position with an FTE of 0.5 - 0.6. The position will commence on Tuesday 19 July 2022 and conclude at the end of Term 4 2022, covering maternity leave. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Designing and implementing learning and teaching programs using knowledge of curriculum, assessment and reporting requirementsTeaching knowledge and skills in art, including drawing, painting, lettering, and art historyProviding individual and small-group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of all students and to accommodate a variety of instructional activitiesInstructing students in proper care and use of tools and equipmentEvaluating each student’s performance and growth in knowledge and aesthetic understandings, and prepare progress reportsUndertaking teaching from ECC - Year 6.
